| Gary A. Beck serves as Regional Manager for the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin. He assumed this position as of March 9, 2008. He had served Moose International as an Operations Analyst. He was appointed to this post in December 2007, after having served as Assistant Regional Manager for the state of Michigan since 2005.
Gary joined the Moose in 1981 at Fenton MI Lodge 430. He served that Lodge as Trustee, Treasurer, and on numerous committees; and as Administrator for 15 years. His Lodge conferred him as a Past Governor. He elevated to East Michigan Moose Legion 107 in 1981, and has served as an Assistant Secretary of that unit of the Degree of Service. He has served the Michigan Moose Association as Softball Chairman, as a District President, and as its Secretary for eight years. He received a conferral as a Past President of that Association. He has also served as editor of the Association’s newsletter. A member of the 200 Division of the Moose 25 Club, Gary received the Fellowship Degree of Honor in 1989 and the Pilgrim Degree of Merit in 1997. Gary is also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. A native of Dearborn, MI, Gary grew up and attended school in Clarkston, MI. He and his wife, Kathy Thomas, reside in Rosholt, WI.. Gary is the father of four children; he has eight grandchildren. |
